It's classic deflation.  Gold will continue to decline as big money has no choice but to move to the US dollar and blue chip stocks. Inflation will only start  in the US after Euro and Japan crumble. With a falling gold price high cost producers will be forced onto bankruptcy causing a further stranglehold on supply. Often all this Gold will take off to new highs.
