RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: The vote i think the anger is appropriately placed on the old management team (said, bharti) that bungled the kurdistan asset that genel benefited from big time, promised a dividend to shareholders and then reneged, then paid themselves bigtime with the change of control. however, the new management team is for the most part aligned with current shareholders. their cost basis for their stock is higher than the current share price of $.10. they didnt get their stock for free or cheap, they paid retail prices like us, therefore they have a very strong vested interest in the urthecast deal being a winner. thats their only motive. aside from the stupid investment where they put LFD money to work buying DSM stock, which is down like 50% or so, they have been looking for ways to grow LFD. I like the idea of getting out of the resource sector and into tech. resource sector may be depressed and asset available on the cheap, however the market may not re rate the sector for a very long time! buy OG cheap and hold it for a few years and its sstill cheap? no thanks. right now, the world is clamoring for hi tech. the next big thing and will put a 100 x PE on a stock that has a lot of buzz on it. this is the right direction to go on. risky yes, but if it hits, it could be a big win. 4 bagger maybe, who knows. also, being that urthecast is doing their private placement at $1.85, that values LFD at $.137 per share ($1.85 divided by 13.55 stock split). That is about LFDs cash value and much better than the $.105 that LFD has been stuck at for a long while. So, at $1.85, we get full value for LFDs cash, and all the upside of urthecast. when the deal is done, hopefully the stock will be near $1.85 and you can sell for the equivalent of $.137, which would be the annual high for LFD this year. or you could hold and see how urthecaste plays out. overall, not a bad scenario.........and much better than 95% of the resource companies situation for the past year or so. comments?
