06 June? A Day to Remember? Longest Day For all those who have a interest in EPL and related companies, this is a key day for EPL, not directly but indirectly.
06 June - First a little history - 06 June, 1944 - D Day - Longest Day.
06 June, 2013 - this is the day the Debenture holders for 2014 and 2013 for FNR vote on FNR financial restructure plan - A vote of NO by 2013 Debenture holders spells serious financial issues, refer to FNR's press releases where this is discussed and thir Auditors report. A vote of yes gives EPL and FNR some breathing room but, in the end FNR will not be able to raise the funds to continue with their current Failed Investment Model, which based on performance has failed, in my humble opinion.
What this means if its a No or No Go on the Debentures, then FNR goes to the Creditors in short order, once again refer to FNR;'s own comments, on going concern as well as the auditors. This means the Creditors/Admin will sel off all the assets which includes share sin both Public and Private Companies. We have seen this in the past when Funds are forced to sell shares, we saw it in 2007/08 and back to Bre XDays, when the resource MKT got hit hard due to Bre X and Fund Sales.
Yes, 06 June shall be the Longest Day for FNR, RPL, OMM, GCR, WGF, WTR, CRJ, SGF, TEM, LAR, PF and other Public and Private companies that FNR has interest.
Good Luck - PS this is what happens when one Fund owns a large block of shares.
All in my humble opinion.
