Company Update TAD Mineral Exploration Ltd. (TJ – TSX.V).
TAD management has been active recently adding two new exciting prospects in regions that have recently garnered a significant amount of market attention. One is the Iskut copper/gold prospect near Colorado Resource’s ‘North Rok’ discovery in British Columbia. The other new prospect is located in the world renowned uranium district of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan in close proximity to the Alpha/ Fission Patterson Lake South discovery. TAD management is formulating work plans at this time, and management is optimistic about the second half of 2013 in terms of corporate growth and activity for TAD.
The Iskut Copper/Gold Prospect:
TAD has just DOUBLED its land holdings near Iskut British Columbia. This new prospect “The Iskut Prospect” is in the vicinity of the recent discovery made on Colorado Resources Ltd.’s (CXO—TSX.V) North Rok Property that returned grades of 242 m of .63% Cu and .85% Au (April 25, 2013). This region of British Columbia also hosts the Red Chris mine owned by Imperial Metals.
North Patterson Lake Uranium Prospect:
TAD has just recently acquired approximately 4000 hectares (9885 acres) of land prospective for uranium in the Athabasca Basin (the “North Patterson Lake Prospect”). This new prospect is in the vicinity of the recent discovery at the Patterson Lake South prospect of Alpha Minerals Inc and Fission Energy Corp. The Athabasca Basin located in Northern Saskatchewan, is an ancient sedimentary basin which hosts most of the world's most significant uranium mines and produces over 20 per cent of the current world uranium production (U3O8).
