The Hemlo operation is located north of Lake Superior on the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 35 km east of Marathon, Ontario, and it is an underground operation.

Thanks for the link geezer. I believe the key for ABX growth is to avoid what KInross has already done. ABX must not buy an overvalued peer like Kinross did with Red Back Mining. According to the recent article below, Red Back was a very overvalued company and this ousted Kinross former CEO.

This article also points out several other potential acquisition targets which are also overvalued.

ABX has already enough food in its plate and there is no reason to acquire another peer, let alone an overvalued one.
