RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Some good things out o I am reassured knowing we have clarity on both the cost and the timelines. The extra 2 quarters [q1-2, 2014] after the calcinator is in place [q3-4, 2013], will provide the needed buffer to get the final end-to-end testing completed.
The involvement of the contractor in all of this was the right thing to do. I am very encouraged by this report because I see the BOD acting in a timely, responsible manner to address the issues. The addition of mr. Glenn Kelly and the 3 new members to the BOD has already borne good fruit!
Meanwhile, we can expect good news on the Veolia RMR, with perhaps FAR [Fly Ash Remediation] as an added bonus.
Regarding the SGA RUSAL deal, I believe it is still in effect, but placed on the back burner for the time being, until such a times as the improvement of market conditions [aluminum overhang], RUSAL's debt situation and Orbite's SGA demo plant startup issues are resolved. Neither side seems to have gained leverage over the other. It's a stalemate.
Having said that, the present context has RUSAL dealing with a strengthened and validated Orbite BOD. Nothing prevents said parties from initiating a BFS, along with a phase I funding [down the road].
