First of all Morrison Lake is not the Headwaters of the Skeena, please read the following news release for BKM November 8, 2012.

"The Morrison Copper/Gold Project is not located within the Skeena River headwaters. The headwaters of the Skeena River are a subalpine basin in northern BC adjacent to Spatsizi Wilderness Park. The Morrison Copper/Gold Project is located at the most eastern edge of the Skeena watershed, 160 kilometers from the Skeena River, 65 kilometers east of Smithers, BC, adjacent to Morrison Lake. The Morrison Lake drains via the Morrison River into the north-eastern arm of the Babine Lake, a 175 kilometers long lake. The Babine Lake drains via the Babine River, a 100 kilometers long river, which originates at the top of the north-western arm of Babine Lake, and is a tributary to the Skeena River."

As to Options,

I to am a bit miffed about the timing of the options and maybe a little bit jealous that they will greatly benefit from any future possibility that this project should proceed. At this point the odds are perhaps 50/50 that BKM should be successful. But I also know that it was the BOD and officers of the company who have put up most of the private placement moneys, perhaps even in its earlier days saved the company from financial ruin. So I've gotten over my envy and kept my money in the bank although I did partake in some earlier PPs. I believe that they, the BOD and Management feel so strongly about this project that they will continue to raise money as needed in order to bring this project forward. The old adage, "Put Your Money Where Your Moth Is" is well served by this group and as much as I groan and complain about this group I personally have not risked the kind of dollars this group has. One thing that would give me some confidence however is if they would bring some big name mining executives on board. Not only would it give me/us a confidence boost but I'm sure the respective government organizations would perhaps take more serious notice with the increase in credibility.

As to "In bed with"

Uncalled for and in my case just a bit more of my frustration coming out. My apologies!

As to the News Release,

Now that legal proceedings have begun, I doubt if either party will be making any news releases until respective lawyers sets have digested what was said and the correct wording on how to respond. As frustrating as it may be there is nothing we can do about it.

We all have read the reports both independent, BKM's and the governments experts. NO SIGNIFICANT AFFECTS! This was a mine and  the final decision rested with two cabinet ministers who were entitled to use their own discretion right up to the last second. The question is, who influenced them to recommend against this proposal proceeding and why. It's not good enough to say they where entitled after so much money and effort has been spent on this project.

I wish that the BC Mining Association would take note of this comment and pressure the government into some concrete answers because this is something out of a third world dictatorship. Who wants to invest money in BC if ministers can arbitrarily say no even if the science says okay. What happened to the science that all these regulations have been built around!

As frustrated as I am, BKM is still forging forward and mostly with their money. I'm still long!
