Also, it's interesting to read how this and other deals unfolded under Chowaniec's watch. You can really see how his attitude towards takeovers of Canadian companies has been shaped.

Something tells me that Chowaniec relishes the idea of going into a sale/license agreement fully prepared and with a plan in place. He almost certainly is the driving force behind the reconsideration of the complete sale of the company.
