Also, it's interesting to read how this and other deals unfolded under Chowaniec's watch. You can really see how his attitude towards takeovers of Canadian companies has been shaped.

Here's a repost (I can't recall the OP - I want to say silentrunning?) of the Tundra acquisition where it was said he "shook with emotion" when announcing the sale, presumably he thought it was undervalued:

Something tells me that Chowaniec relishes the idea of going into a sale/license agreement fully prepared and with a plan in place. He almost certainly is the driving force behind the reconsideration of the complete sale of the company.
