RE: RE: Told to be quiet for BUYOUT RE: CNBC data

If they wanted to enter the market then yes.

But, Microsoft is already in the PC market and they dominate it.  Think about it, how many computers run Linux and how many run Windows.

Windows is Microsoft's cash cow and they can not afford to let their PC operating system dominance slip away.

Not only is QNX gaining market share.  QNX is the only vialble contender for replacing Windows, there is a serious possibility that it will.

Microsoft has enough money to buy off all of the anti-trust concerns so they are ignored and go away.  There is hundreds of billions of dollars at stake for Microsoft.  Microsoft is Goliath and QNX is David.

QNX will replace Windows as the most preferred and implemented operating system.  Its presence will be everywhere and embedded in everything...  until it too is eventually replaced.  Quantum computing is just around the corner.

The first patent on quantum computers was in 1999.  It's still in it's nascent phase.  It will eventually replace the old.  That's Moore's Law and that's evolution.  The young and strong replace the old and obsolete.

In the end, mass consumption will trump everything.
