Community Consultation - Part 2

Community Consultation - Part 2

Question: My preference is for you to take all of the waste that you are generating to the south.

Response: For the last several years we have been doing that, at great expense and risk (due to transportation on the winter road). Eventually, there is a possibility that southern jurisdictions will start refusing waste from the Territories. There needs to be a made-in-the-north solution for waste disposal.

Question: Do you have to wait until you do your seismic before you select your next set of wells?

Response: We have already selected our two vertical and our two horizontal well pads but moving forward to select our future wells we will need more seismic data. We found from drilling our H-64 location that we did not know enough about the formation before we drilled because the formation was naturally fractured before we got there. There are natural fault  zones and we need to know where those are before we drill.

Question: How many stages are you planning for in the multi-stage hydraulic fracturing?

Response: We are planning six stages per horizontal leg with the option to do additional stages if required.

Question: Are you going to DST (drill stem test) any of these zones?

Response: That is what is being discussed and planned for right now.

Question: If your spud date is September 1, are you using two rigs?

Response: We were originally planning to use two rigs but because of logistics and camp restraints we will drill with one rig.

Question: How many days do you anticipate flaring?

Response: We are planning to flow test both wells with incineration for 18-30 days at this point.
