The title of the news report says that it's strange for the Sangdong Mine re-development to be at a standstill for more than one year.
The rest of the news report mentions, among other issues, that:
1) The delay is bascially derailing hope of the locals.
2) The leadership at Sangdong Mining changed and they stress that Sangdong will be re-developed.
3) No timeline for re-development except to mention that the Sangdong Mine will be re-developed.
4) The re-development of the Sangdong Mine continues to be promoted.
5) According to the locals, and other company officials, there are dozens of workers currently at the site, which also has security on location.
6) According to local officials, there's no change, everything is still proceeding.
So, from this, there also seems to be a disconnect between how the local people percieve the project, and how the company officials view the project. Wish someone from this board could make a trip there!
Good luck to all.
p.s. It's below 12 cents, and as I mentioned in an earlier post... I'm buying like crazy dude!!!! I've doubled my position and I'm hoping to do even more than that. But that's just me. To each his/her own.
