Yeah, it is sort of 'what were they thinking?' kind of deal.  Obviously, the failure to pay the annual fee is a doozy of a mistake.  But beyond that, they [couer] have sat there while their stock price has been cut in half.  I doubt Bill H. would accept an all stock offer, whether for all or part of the company.  But to the extent that he would take some shares, they now would half to come up with twice as many of them for the same amopunt of buying power.

 

Also, what's up with the 20 lawyers sucking at Couer's teets?  You would have thunk that a good 4th year law student could have told them they have no case.  'They might overturn the Mining Law of 1872', say the bashers, lol.  Lawyers will be using that as a punchline for years.
