Realistic vs Conservative vs Hype

Many of the longs are of the belief that the BCSC overstepped the QP's on the report.  Many think possibly that the actual oz's were much higher and the BCSC fundamentally changed the resource #'s.  The only numbers that in my opinion may have been of issue would have been an uncapped # and the geologic potential.  The last thing Snowden wants is for a major to come in and find all kinds of holes in the data, or find that it overestimated or didn't do good work.

 

Keep in mind, they have their rep to be concerned with.

 

Conservative... I can honestly tell you I am aware of Jr. companies that have been so conservative with resource numbers in order to be able to talk to majors when it comes time to be bought out, that the major is stunned by the conservative nature of the resource calc.  This has help lead to a higher sale value because the JR comes across with integrity.
