Your level of 150 (which is equivalent to 3.89 in Canadian readings) is very good but the important number is the HDL to determine your ratio which would be ideal if less than 3.
I have a TC of 4 with HDL of 1.9 just on diet and exercise but I'm in this business so I'm faced with the alternative everyday.
