One issue with NSR's is it can make it onerous in the takeover of a company.  I do remember looking in earlier 43-101 that there are already NSR's on many of the claims.  I think most were less than 3%.  But if you add in more, it really makes it hard for a company to take over a company with high NSR's.  Obviously it depends how they are all structured etc, but generally anything over 3% with no buyout is considered a no go... Lots of things can change this... Just talking general terms.
