I think you are spot on,

 

HRT won't release anything before full results are known

and actually they must have reached Wingat (4000m) some time before (10 days or something) 

reaching  5000m depth, I assume the first week of may,

there was no high volume indicating anything at that time,

they seem to be running a very tight ship at Marianas..
