Who was the beneficial owner of sell trades (below) by house #079 (CIBC) between Jan 30 2012 and Feb 29 2012? Anyone?
Share price tanked from 24.5 cents to 17 in the 5 days leading up to (i.e. before) the firing of John Key and promotion of JTO to CEO on Feb 3 2012. Insider trading? Would appear someone knew something or wanted the 'equity' financing option removed from the equation IMO.
The selling by #079 (CIBC) continued and was relentless for the remainder of the month, selling over 7M shares in a 1 month period with price hitting low of about 14 cents.
Who was the beneficial owner of these shares sold by #079 in Feb 2012?
This question will be answered as they figure out exactly what happened here and why.
It makes no logical sense that a company with a 2M oz Au resource in Nevada, who is in production and experiencing startup issues, makes management changes and has its share price punished in this relentless manner.
'SOMEONE' wanted the equity option (i.e. typical offering of shares to raise funds) removed from the equation. Who would do that? A debt lender? NO idea. You be the judge.
Could be totally off base here but this was the start of GGNs slide to where we sit today.
