Counter, I agree with your post and might add that the market is manipulating NVS SP when you consider the data provided by Sherbrooke in his comparsion of Renegade/Novus. I still find it hard to believe that a company that is growing revenue production + accumulated low debt in comparsion to the number of wells that they are completing is being "punished" so badly. Novus is definitely a takeover target, however, I'm in the same boat as Sherbrooke as I think that they would be ill advised to issue shares to acquire an asset at today's SP valuation. Resource stocks are "down" today, but they will make a recovery........share hit 1.18 earlier this year, but since then NVS has reported substantial increases in production revenue, lower netback operating, increased debt ($4m for 20 completed drill wells), net income for Q1 (5.08M) etc. . These facts resulted in company losing 40% share value. I would hate to see how the market would have reacted if the results were negative. I, too have not lost faith and purchased more shares yesterday as I agree that NVS is great oil play in SK. and it is difficult not to buy a company with this "story".
