RE:A GW takeoverChief...I don't believe that GW's intent is altruistic any more than I would believe the same with current management.
However, its rubber on road for me...It simply comes down to who can deliver the most in a reasonable period of time. GW bought what they had to buy to make their move. I don't begrudge them for that, nor would I take anybody over the current management team.
I will say that I am very confidnt that GW has a network of brokers, financiers, PE contacts and industry contacts that far, far, far exceeds anything current management could dream of.
In knowing that, and having reviewed their track record, I am will to move in that direction and make my money as a tag along to whaever their plans may be. The thought of continuing along with McRae and co. is tantamount to being in a Guatemalan prison and not running through a hole in the wall because I don't have sunscreen on.
Why would anybody want to continue on like this? If GW walks, its straight back to Bunker Belleville for all of us.
