VendTek to Provide eFresh Technology to Specsavers

VENDTEK SYSTEMS AND SPECSAVERS OPTICAL GROUP LIMITED ENTER STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
VendTek Systems Inc. has entered a commercial partnership with Specsavers Optical Group Ltd., an international company providing a trusted eye and hearing care service, including affordable glasses, contact lenses and digital hearing aids, to a number of countries in Europe and across the globe. Specsavers sells prepaid eye care vouchers to companies, which distribute them to their employees as part of their benefit program. This agreement will enable Specsavers to use VendTek's eFresh technology to replace its physical vouchers with an electronic distribution system. eFresh will be used by Specsavers to manage all selling, delivering, servicing and settlement activities via the Internet and other electronic delivery mechanisms.
This new innovative distribution system reduces production and shipping costs. It also increases security, flexibility and customer satisfaction.
Following the implementation, Specsavers corporate customers will be able to use eFresh to directly order and print customized Specsavers e-vouchers. These vouchers can be automatically redeemed at Specsavers retail locations, where the e-PIN (personal identification number) code will be entered into the eFresh system for validation and settlement.
