RE:RE:RE:Hmmm.RagingBullS&%t,
Who are the people you mean when you say that some are happy with 0.30 instead of 0.20? I review the board posting fairly regularly and not a person I am aware of is or has been happy with the SP for a good long time now.....and that includes any of the activity since the emergence of the GW push for change.
But not being happy is the whole point isn't it?
And I've responded before to those that think somehow the abyssmal performance of the SP is somehow the shareholders fault. Not sure what universe you are from, but in this one, the mgmt of the company is totally the responsiblilty of the mgmt team. And given that the current team has done sweet duck all at enriching shareholders (whether you own 1000 shares or 1e6 shares) then shareholders have a right to expect and demand better. Whether they bet the farm or not on this company is not relevant. People may have bet the farm.....but those same people expect that a business is run competently and with shareholder value in mind.
Building a VMC with nothing to produce is not a sound business decision. Staying the course on peddling your Animal portfolio through mom and pop vets scattered throughout Canada is not a sound business decision. These are the obvious examples, others have posted many more. Imagine if the $30mil for the VMC (and subsequent millions for upkeep) had been invested in expanding AH? Starting an Onconocidin trial in humans? Starting a Sin Susto trial in humans? Nope....we'll just pour 1/3 of our market cap into a plant that we're now told will only cover 20% of it's cost starting middle of next year......and somehow our mgmt team thinks that's a good idea.......
Investing is a gamble and those who have gambled on this company have done so on their own accord. But just because they gambled doesn't mean that our current mgmt team is allowed to run the business like grade 9 business students. Nor should we be satisified by the constant flow of entitlements to them with our dollars.
If you've listened to the recent VMC conf call, you know that a regime change is needed. To claim that an Econiche mandate is the near term catalyst of focus when we have 30 alledged partners banging down the door for Urocidin is delusional. Furthermore, claiming that the Paladin deal is remarkable or extraordinary is more than delusional.....
