For LT WIN s/hThis is not the outcome I was expecting. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated, as I image all longs are. I'm trying to piece it together. Did WIN have the upper hand in the beginning of the trial? Were they banking on Jarosz and once he was made to look stupid, it didn't matter what the merits were in the case? why did WIN not settle? Were they given a small settelement offer? Were they given any offer at all? Was the jury out to lunch?
So many unanswered questions!
The reality is that the s/p does NOT reflect reality, b/c with the 1.50 in cash and the estimated 300M+ owing to WIN, you can basically buy a $1 of cash for $.90 without risk. But that means only a 10% bump from these prices.
I have been a long term holder of WIN and I want the CEO to answer some tough questions to s/h. For example, how bad is this situation really?. How is he planning on monetizing other patents, given the stigma around litigation now. What are his plans with Samsung and Siemans?
There's been a lot of wins; however, a couple grave mistakes as well.
To the PE vultures out there that know the market is so off it's not funny, I can see you drooling and I hate that you might be able to get my shares at half as much as they are really worth..
