RE:RE:FCU patent application

Nobody at this point can claim to know how successful FCU's patent application will be, but FCU management would be derelict in their duty to their shareholders if they failed to initiate an application simply because the process can be ardous.   Patents can be valuable and companies like Wi-Lan, for example, exist only because they can license their portfolio.  AMW shareholders as joint owners of PLS have no need to feel threatened by the application though, as they are also joint beneficiaries of any advancement FCU can contribute to the project.  

The fear of AMW's float being diluted in a merger with FCU is also misguided.  A suiter for PLS will most probably purchase PLS as a sole asset in a spinco created by AMW and FCU.  Dilution is a different animal altogeather.  

The current arrangement seems to be working pretty good though.  PLS is the talk of the industry and the value of the project and share prices are advancing almost daily.  What's not to like?
