RE:Bad news but.........
RE:Bad news but.........Slappy..there are no good answers...first thing is HRT needs to fire a whole lot of people including all those "phd's" and get the cash burn rate as low as possible..replace all those "phd's" with a good Texas wildcatter and they would probably find an oil well in the solimoes. The best solution now would be to have petrobras buy out rosneft..as the solimoes gas has value to petrobras and by extention Brazil government. I doubt rosneft has any skin in the game. When rosneft bought tnk/bp the price paid was for the russian assets..Putin wanted the deal done... BP needed the money because of the gulf oil spill and the Russian partners did not want to be bed mates of khodorkovsky, the former yukos ceo. I bet petrobras could buy out rosneft for 100 million max.. This deal could go through because I doubt rosneft wants to invest any money in the solimoes. The second best solution is petrobras buys HRT..this could happen after moosehead duster when HRT walks away from nam..the problem for shareholders is rosneft gets 45%. Something has to be done fast..HRT runs out of money in six months...so rosneft sells out before HRT bankruptcy The "liquid oil presence" at wingat proves nothing...nam is a big bust...after kudu in the 1970's 16 dusters were drilled in a row, chariot's 2 dusters, and hrt's 2 dusters plus the soon to come moosehead duster will be 21 dusters..then everybody walks away just like in the 1970's because as i said 2 years ago..There is no oil offshore nam" . The cheerleaders here point out how many wells were drilled in the north sea before oil was discovered..in the north sea the majors had a conviction that the oil was there..there is no such conviction in nam..the majors are not going to keep spending 70 million per duster for a "learning experience"...nam is going to be relegated to the dust bin of history.
