project of national interest

project of national interestthis statement may be telling the current suitor that the govt does not approve of aquisitor and wants other strong hands with deep pockets. Govt may prefer local Minores or Qatar but GG has the best bid? Maybe that's why stock not moving. But the Govt should be choosy to whom the whole mountain goes................As a pure news item, IMHO this is FAR more important than signing off on paramo..... 1000's of AU jr. mining companies have big deposits and cash. How many have the distinction of being a "project of national interest". This is no brainer- govt does not come out and make this comment out of the blue and then shut them down. But maybe the govt is being very careful who gets the mountain? Just a matter of degree as strong hands may require a discount to participate. Any deal  price is north of $2 even if the Pope was the buyer.
