RE:BRAZIL joins the SHALE GAS REVOLUTION !

RE:BRAZIL joins the SHALE GAS REVOLUTION !Check out this article too....the  NEW format of STOCKHOUSE  is  truly  AWFUL and MISERABLE and it does not allow me to post the link. So I quote it:

Brazil’s natural gas supply to exceed original expectations Brazil's energy regulator ANP claims the country may have almost twice as much natural gas onshore than was previously estimated, according to Bloomberg News.

It  exceeds the estimations made by the US Energy Information Administration, which had originally thought the country's gas supply in shale was around 226 trillion cubic feet.

But the estimate from ANP is reportedly 88 per cent more than that figure. Shale has become increasingly popular with companies, as they look to harvest it for fuel in various applications.

This latest estimate could firm up interest in the  auction of shale-gas blocks from big industry names such as Royal Dutch Shell, as well as billionaire Eike Batista, who runs the country's second-largest oil company, both of whom had previously expressed interest in investing. The auction could feature the sales of up to five different basins, although there have already been environmental and legal risks expressed from some analysts.
