Not sure how you figure they overpaid for Pinto, if they can recover 80% of the measured and indicated resource (=6 billion pounds), then they paid 11-cents per pound + plus got a fully functioning mine, seems like a pretty good deal. If you back out the costs to develop the mine, permits, etc... then they paid around 2-cents a pound. Oh don't forget 90+ million pounds of moly (free) and an undetermined amount of silver.
