Reality of a deposit like this

Reality of a deposit like thisI have spent a bit of time reading old historical reports from both BGM and IW.  One thing that really comes to mind is the issue of old historical workings and how many oz's are truely left in the Cow Mtn area.  It is very obvious the the old timers were very wise as to what they did mine and what they left behind.  The vein sets that had any length to them were what was primarily mined.  In addition to the mining they did, it appears that much of this ore had to be hand cobbled and was done by extremly cheap labor.  It would be my guess that the remaining vein sets tend to be short in length and were near impossible in the day to mine.

If a company comes in and starts evaluation of a project like this, they are surely going to question the latest report as no practical geologic model was made to do the resource.  In typical fasion, as stated in the report they had to create kriging blocks to come up with a resource.    How reliable will this resource be with a detailed Geologic model and actual historic workings put into the model.

I really have to wonder iof this thing can be mined in an open pit fasion.  If the majority of the longer highgrade vein sets were already mined, does this thing stand up to a prefeas and Feas.  I will be willing to bet not!

Yes, I think the current Indicated oz's are present, but am willing to bet that the majority of the current inf. will not be able to be converted to indicated because of drill spacing, historical workings and length of remaining vein sets.

How about the town of Wells... Do you really think they will support an open pit that basically comes upto structures in the town?  How about fly rock?   What happens to tourism?

More questions to come
