If the Russians do kiss and make up

If the Russians do kiss and make upThere are so many people out there who think the markets are rigged to take their money.  In my experience they tend to be people who react emotionally to news stories....getting excited when the news is good and panic stricken when the headlines forbode bad times.

So, no doubt there are plenty of people who dumped due to predictions of Potash prices plummeting 25% and more globally because of the split of the Russian cartel.

What would (will/sic) the reaction of Joe Newsreader be though if
Belarusian Potash and Uralkali patch things up, either on their own or because of outside pressure?

I have a pretty good guess.  Joe will show up here saying the capital markets are all just a manipulated scam designed to screw investors.  He might even claim that the entire excercise of breaking up the cartel was to drive stock prices lower so that big money investors could get in cheap.

If it comes to pass...I would have a hard time arguing the point.  After all....all those shares that fearful holders were dumping....there's been enough buy side interest to keep the price from cratering.  This stock hasn't yet even achieved a new 52 week low.
