Oiltar/DeBeers

Oiltar/DeBeersDeBeers/Oiltar, thanks for your insights, an old dog is learning.

Market cap today is around 98 million, almost double the amount of the Dec deadline agreement, maybe the 'feet on the street' still by DeBeers past the 8 week plan at CH-6 (thanks Ekim) is trying to gain as much info as they can as the bulk results will not be given up before the deadline.  How much info can be gained by kicking around at the surface?  I agree with Oiltar, a take over would be much cheaper at these prices, will have to keep an eye on inside buys, once Debeers owns over 10% they have to start reporting, assuming they are buying any stock now.  100 million to them is pocket change in this game.  I would expect that 'if' they were going to do this they would be getting on their horses by now, as we move into the chill of the season, the price here I expect will rise as speculators move in, volume has dropped in the past couple of days.  If they do announce a hostile take over, it would have to be at a premium as well, and have to be approved by shareholders.  A few insiders hold over 50% so it may prove difficult if anyways, but everyone has a price....  A bidding war would be very exciting.......  especially for the longs who are not willing to wait for any mine, if there is ever a mine.

Average price here in the past year was ??  A take over usually offers a premium on the average price of a stock over a period of time.
