The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. RE:RE:Just a thought WH... all interesting, but I think you might be barking up the wrong tree.
I did say in the recent past you have to think outside the box,... Consolidations,
I dont think that would do as much as you would think, as investors still look at the
market cap, at the big picture.. Moving to full TSX, if thats the case is simply a matter of asset
size and making the application I believe. We already are on some kind of index as well,
and it does give a little boost to share ownership. Ive already mentioned in the past what might
change a pricing perception... Dont believe it to be consolidation, share buyback or additional coverage.. The market has changed in the last few years, and I cant help, if one is unable to
see that change... Not my role.
