Mirador at LM-10Unless I am misunderstanding the news release, what a lot of people are missing here is that they hit oil on the other side of the fault. I believe LM is a hanging wall anticline, but regardless the oil pool to date as only been on the upthrown side of the fault. The fact that there is oil on the downside of the fault means we may have an additional separare structure, at least in the Mirador, on the other side of the fault. I assume some seizmic interpretation may be necessary to evaluate the possibilities.
On the downside, the Gachetta only flowed 1,000 bopd, although without ESP.
I think LM will turn out to be a 18-20MM bbl gross recoverable pool when all is said and done.
