Ok lets look at possibility
If an investor is considering that in the short term there will be no production growth, so therefore no catalyst for the stock, they might sell the stock and buy the debenture. Hence you get income while you wait and a play on the stock as it goes up. My guess is, that a lot of inestors are trading the stock in for debutures and that there is nothing wrong with the company. I wonder what they will get for DM#2. Hence it is a buying opportunity IMHO.
