Q2 Results Should be Decent Services revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2013, does not include the impact of Route1's Nov. 20, 2012, press release, where Route1 announced that it had received a second purchase order from a component of the U.S. Department of Defence. The purchase order was for an additional 2,000 MobiKEY Fusion devices and 4,000 MobiKEY application software subscriptions covering the service period from April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2014. As a result, during the term of the service period, Route1 will add an additional 2,000 paid, active subscribers.
"We are showing progress in growing our MobiKEY application software revenue base. Due to contract term dates and the lumpy nature of contract awards, the second quarter of 2013 will more accurately reflect the company's run rate revenue in terms of paid, active subscribers and average revenue per paid, active subscriber," said Tony P. Busseri, chief executive officer of Route1. "We continue to aggressively pursue business opportunities that will grow our paid user base and, where possible, improve the quality of our services revenue."
