Panasonic PR

Panasonic PR

I think Sensio has been specific in saying that there is no 3dgo without the hifi format. As pointed out, they stated that recently on their Facebook page.
So I don't mind that they don't mention the hifi format in their general PRs since most folks aren't that interested in what is 'under the hood'. I am more concerned that Panasonic didn't participate in a joint annoucement.
Like others, I don't understand the reference to legacy TVs and also the time frame for implementation - Vizio doesn't have apps in place for all their new 3d tvs. They said in the CC it would take months (4-6) to get new CEs on board.

Missing deadlines has been killing the stock and this latest one has the same feeling about it. I sure hope that they have learned enough from previous hasty promises that they will deliver sooner than later.

But most of all, since they don't publish terms of the deal - and that is why we are all guessing - this price will languish until the financials show a marked uptrend. Folks are afraid these agreements are 'loss leaders' and won't be convinced until they "see the money".

On the positive side signing a deal with a major is an excellent start, but they need to clear up some of our questions and get rid of this cloud that surrounds the near future. Maybe asking questions on Facebook will help, since they have responded to some there.
