WONDERFUL NEWS: Horrible responseThis news is great. It relieves some of the pressure on the need to obtain certain production levels and to see a certain gold price in order to stay in positive cash flow.
iq4u: a stock buyback program has its merits but a growing, relatively new company like ANX could put the cash to much better use to grow the company and advance larger projects with greater scope than Pine Cove. A stock consolidation would kill us at this current price and at this current level of interest and stock activity. Just how would a stock buyback pique investor interest and drive the stock price? Larger and more diversified projects might! ANX has the cash flow coming to start looking at prospective takeovers or acquistions.
bada123bing: an attack on Syria: i.e a "shock and awe" would spell disaster in the middle east. The proper course of action here is to negotiate through diplomacy and incentives. Attacking Syria would draw the tiny nation of Israel into the fray as Bashar has already warned: i.e. he will bomb Israel in retaliation if the U.S. strikes Syria. I spent considerable time in the beautiful Land of Israel and visited Mt. Hermon at the very "finger" of the Golan Heights, a which point you are only 50 miles from Damascus...that is how tight everything is there. On a clear day, as the song goes, you can see (forever) Damascus. Just south of Mt. Hermon is the Valley of Tears, a valley which separates Israel and Syria and where Israel lost hundreds of IDF forces to the hundreds of Syrian tanks that came down from the heights into that valley to attack Israel, some 40 years ago. Today, only a U.N. outpost sits in that valley to keep a vigilante eye on Syria. If Israel is forced into this by the U.S. under a fool like Obama, it will hit Syria so hard that the world, as usual, will make Israel the villian and turn Syria into the victim, which happens almost routinely these days in all matters involving the TransJordanian Arabs or what the world has now termed "Palestinian" Arab. 98% of these "Palestinian Arabs" were TransJordanians when they were caught in the crossfire of the 1967 War. It was a transient population with few actually owning rights to the Land they claim was "stolen" from them. The word "Palestinian" is actually a *****ization of the word "Philistine" which the Roman occupiers could not pronounce and ended up coining the term "Palestinian". In reality, Gaza was the home of David, who ultimately became King of Israel.
