Finance--I think what COS has done with finances has been good.  Debt policy, dividend payouts, etc.  (One negative their financial reports are very repetitive.)   New CEO—that still leaves operations as the main skill requirement for the next CEO.  And I think it is going to be very tough to get a great new boss.  Think of it; if you were ranked at the top of this skill—operations of running Syncrude operations—would you want to run COS where your control is very indirect?  THIS IS A BIG WEAKNESS IN THE CURRENT STURE OF COS.   Good news, it and the other negatives on COS are to a large, but not 100%, extent reflected in the current share price.
