Its an interesting comparison. Roxgold has some extraordinarily high grades, esp for West Africa. What people keep forgetting about Volta is that although our overall average grade is 1 gram per ton, we also have sections averaging over 2 grams per ton which can be mined selectively. Also, there are many other aspects of the kiaka deposit which makes it economical - such as the fact that the gold is contained in one compact pit. In any event the article below discusses both Roxgold and VTR and might interest you if you haven't seen it. I suppose the author is saying the Roxgold is the type of company that will appeal to people who predict a lower POG scenario whereas VTR appeals to those who predict higher gold prices
