ProShares Hedge Replication ETF V.HDG

Primary Symbol: HDG

The investment seeks investment results, before fees and expenses, that track the performance of the Merrill Lynch Factor Model-Exchange Series (the benchmark). The fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should track the performance of the benchmark. The benchmark seeks to provide the risk and return characteristics of the hedge fund asset class by targeting a high correlation to the HFRI Fund Weighted Composite Index (the HFRI). The HFRI is designed to reflect hedge fund industry performance through an equally weighted composite of over 2000 constituent funds. The fund is non-diversified.

Re: Right Direction

Re: Right DirectionI actually just bought high desert gold because at these prices I don't mind rolling the dice, however I do not get the same sense of positivity in Cooks latest comments about HDG as another poster on this board does.   Cook's latest comments were that if he did not own this stock he would not buy into it until they can come up with some much better drill results.  He calls their discoveries thus far marginal at best and stated that they have not come up with the big discovery he had hoped for when he first bought this stock at $0.42 back in 2010.   He says that he will not be adding to his position even at these current prices and will hold to see what kind of drill results they will have in their next round simply because he has lost so much money on them and does not want to sell at such a huge loss.  He also stated that he is tired of holding this stock and that the fun and excitement of holding this stock in the beginning has turned into grueling work and a burden.    I picked up on a lot of apathy and negativity in his latest comments regarding HDG, but he does not rule out that they are still capable of making that big discovery it is just after three years of holding this stock he is tired of waiting.
