Holding physical gold

Holding physical gold
There was an interview on BNN yesterday where I believe Andy Bell was asking a question to someone about gold. During the framing of his question, he casually said something about the rumours that the US investment banks do not actually hold anywhere near the physical gold they say they do, which is something often mentioned on here. He then brushed that point aside as something he did not want to get into, but not before his guest laughed out loud and called those rumours silliness.

Did anyone else catch that or have any thoughts?
