ProShares Hedge Replication ETF V.HDG

Primary Symbol: HDG

The investment seeks investment results, before fees and expenses, that track the performance of the Merrill Lynch Factor Model-Exchange Series (the benchmark). The fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should track the performance of the benchmark. The benchmark seeks to provide the risk and return characteristics of the hedge fund asset class by targeting a high correlation to the HFRI Fund Weighted Composite Index (the HFRI). The HFRI is designed to reflect hedge fund industry performance through an equally weighted composite of over 2000 constituent funds. The fund is non-diversified.

The excellent gold extractions

The excellent gold extractions

Ralph Fitch, president and chief executive officer, stated: "The excellent gold extractions on this coarser material suggest that the gold mineralization will likely be heap leachable. This is a very positive step forward for the project. Also noteworthy is that 50 to 60 per cent of the gold was extracted within the first 48 hours of the test with the remaining gold recovered over the balance of the 40-day test period. As we move forward studies will include trade-off studies between heap-leach scenarios using coarse material and slightly lower gold extractions and vat-leach scenarios using fine grained material and high metal recoveries."

Gold Springs is 100 per cent owned by High Desert Gold Corp.
