No free look....can't seem to reply to posts. Had to create new thread.
508 tonnes collected. 470 tonnes with De Beers. De Beers processing 250 tonnes using DMS will yield 1.8 tonnes of heay minerals. This 1.8 tonne product will include all the kimberlite indicator minerals and other heavy rock types. It won't be much use to De Beers in making a decision, especially if it is put in sealed security containers within hours of coming off the DMS and a Peregrine Diamonds representative is always on site.

Caustic fusion will be applied to the 1.8 tonne concentrate. This means everything is eaten away by acid except for the diamonds. This would be much more valuable for De Beers to see this result. But this is being done in Saskatoon.

The 220 tonnes remaining is an insurance policy. If the diamond results are abnormally poor, then PGD could send the 220 tonnes to another lab, to keep De Beers honest.
