Re: if there are any lawsuitsAgree with poster. All the libelllous attacks by bashers on this site has prompted me to break my boycott to offer the following food for thought.
Disguising libel as fair comment won't work for you should you be sued. Adding IMO or JMO does not save you.
For "fair comment" to work, the facts have to be right or, at leased reasonable held in good faith.
The attacks here are neither - they have repeatedly been demonstrated to be false and the wording of the atacks clearly shows malice. By working in conjunction with the Street Sweeper, you are ptomoting their libel, which they are on record as admitting is tied to their shorting of this stock. By the test of what "a resonable person would conclude" libel could be proven.
The attacks on the re*****tion of honest folks like Chief, are part of this.
Bottomfeeders with highly questonable credentials - even ones run by convicted racketeers and stock fraudsters - rarely get sued because they are not worth the time and money. Message board poster get even less attention.
Of course,if the Street Sweeper piece appeared in any paper in Canada, it would be sued - and failing a grovelling printed apology it would lose and be forced to pay big time. No newspaper's libel lawyer would ever allow such a piece to appear.
But with websites and social media being so widespread these days, there is still a chance the libel and defamation could become so pervasive and damaging, that it cannot be ignored.
Bear in mind, anyone who propogates the original libel and/or adds to it can be sued. So one does not only have the US site to go after. Easier tagets are those here in Canada who are reckless enough to play this game.
I also believe that any victim has six months from the last appearance of the libel to file a suit.
Bottom line - what you are doing is risky. You have by your own choice of words and promotion of libelous material laid yourself open. All your postings on this site and others, re Zen and re any other companies you might have launched your campaigns against can be used to establish a partern and show deliberate intent and malice.
You may be continue to get away with it, or you may not. Depends whether someone who has been wronged enough and has the time and resources to go after you decides to do so.
I would suggest you check these comments with a lawyer to verify the above, but of course, you do not appear to be capable of fact checking so I supposed this advice is wasted. But one has to try.
