accessabilityhope bay is accessable by sea for 5wks max in summer but! has anyone ever heard of Echo Bay Mines and the lupin mine? the Hope Bay project has higher grades than at Lupin and from what I can tell a larger deposit and not as deep. The only drawback to this is that is colder than a b#$ch in the winter with 600 HP fans blowing -40to-60 degree air into the mine for ventilation, any one heard what the ground temp. is? How deep does the permafrost go in the area? any one got any of the answers to these questions?
