# SHARES SHORTED

# SHARES SHORTED            Upside, I thought Trent's reference was to LONG/SHORT positions taken by some hedge funds. ETFs can not short a stock.

With 3.1M total no. of shares traded today, the action was fast and furious at the last hour. What I was happy to see was the number of different houses taking part on the BUY side while just one house would do the SELL side and then rotate to a different house to sell some more. It looks to me like short positions increased today but this did not discourage the many different buyers.

Give the shorts some credit for persistence but I think they will be coming to Jesus soon.
