mzsmith,

another extremely well put and thorough anaylsis. the only thing i would do differently than you is acquire now when the equity is sub .80 trying to pick them up on substantive news will most likely result in cost averaging up and getting sucked into that cycle. nevertheless, i understand the wisdom of waiting as well because we don't want to have "dead money" although, if i truly believe that something will spike up really strongly which i believe will happen over here, i would rather have a bit of "dead money" in something i strongly believe in knowing it will do extremely well than try to market time other potential investments which may or may not depending where they are.

i am a strong believer in having fewer stocks over many to spread the risk. if people know what they are doing, this is what i recall people (experts) who invest suggest to do. in any case, i'm more the buy and hold so this strategy works the best for me, but doing a bit of both is probably really good in today's market because buying and holding the solar's has been a tough one to say the least but things from what i have been reading will become drastically better and for someone like q it will be an amazing ride--like i have said patience will win the investment.

thank you mercurysmith for starting an excellent discussion as you have been doing, mzsmith for your ongoing thorough analysis as well as ck for your postings of the industry trend and anaylsis with them. let's keep these discussions going because they are extremely fruitful and something we can all learn from. go q, go!!!
