RE:A few of my thoughts

RE:A few of my thoughtsAgree with most of your thoughts, and agree that the Oando thing shouldn't have anything to do with Mart. And I also agree that it is because we are in Nigeria, so if one company has such issues, investors will immediately assume everyone will be involved.

Plus, Mart's history of poor communication and missed guidance have shareholders on pins and needles, so anything can send them scurrying for the nearest exit. And it doesn't help that we have heard nothing about the new pipeline, so can only assume it is facing yet more delays. If we get too deep into 2014 without it, or the promised increased allotment from AGIP, we will be in a tightening financial position as the new tax regime takes affect.

But I also agree that the potential remains, and Mart isn't broken, just dysfunctional. So, like Chen, I was buying toward the close yesterday. I am hoping the 16% dividend will be supported by improved results down the road.

As for the "friend" who sold for the first time yesterday, I hope it isn't someone who is still pumping up the story.
