Unless TOL is not telling shareholders the whole story, and they had some major disappointments with their drilling in q3, I'm expecting another superior offer to come along in 2 weeks or so.
oil and liquids focused company, large undeveloped land base, good netbacks, profitable, etc, etc,
if they were forced to a pre-arrangement marriage by their bankers, then the only reason is major disappointment with their drilling program otherwise a new offer is being prepared as we discuss is major dissapopintment ot minority shareholders.
The other scenario is that the deal gets voted down and the company make a higher offer just appease everyone.
I recall reading that Lightstream bought their stake at approximatley these levels, so that's a little concerning as well?
I also get the feelling that many have left this stock and it's turning into an arbitrage play for the major houses.
oh well, we'll what happens in the future.
