Why was it a failure to launch GBC?  Did you need a halt or a big flashy PR?

I have checked their website and they do show new products.. the 'smooth hand' auto digger is one of them!  Looks pretty good to me, and although it shows a 'cantilever rig' with a drawworks system in the video.. I would imagine it works on electric/hydraulic rigs as well.. but I will call them and ask to be sure!  

Maybe they could've showed a video with the new 'auto digger' operating on an offshore rig as well??

GBC do you even know what an Eaton Brake is?   Eaton Brakes and drawworks run hand in hand .. I've drilled on plenty of rigs that are set up this way.  Just because the video shows what appears to be a drum brake set up your assuming this auto digger only works with drum brakes?  LOL  you know what happens when you ASSume?

And a FYI .. most rigs being built these days regardless of location are being built as electric/hydraulic rigs!
