Petroforte International Ltd. Acquires 100% of Participating Interests in Their Brazeau River Properties

Petroforte International Ltd. reported that it has signed an agreement with its Brazeau River partnership to increase its working interest in two sections effective September 1, 2013. Petroforte had a 6% non-operated working interest which has now been successfully increased to a 100% working interest and the corporation has assumed operatorship. There are currently two gaswells collectively producing at 759 MCF/D gross and 20 B/D gross of condensate from the Gething /Rock Creek formations on the acreage. Petroforte's two sections are located within the oil play fairway composed of multiple stacked Belly River productive sands currently being developed by DeeThree Exploration. There are also several offsetting Cardium pools and Petroforte's acreage is on trend with adjoining Cardium oil production. There are two other Petroforte wells on the Brazeau River properties which are currently shut-in. These wells will be recompleted to test the oil potential within the Belly River and Cardium zones. Petroforte expects recompletion operations to commence within the month. The Corporation also recognizes gas potential on logs within upper Mannville channel sands that appear comparable to the channel sands being developed by other operators in the area. As consideration for acquiring these Gaswells, pursuant to the agreement, the corporation has been paid $264,000 by the partners and has agreed to pay for all remediation costs associated with the Gaswells.
